‘Bangabandhu Innovation Grant’ to be organized every year, 38 local and foreign startup entrepreneurs to get grants: Palak
Laizul Islam:  State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Junaid Ahmed Palak, speaking as the chief guest at a press conference on Wednesday (November 25) at the ICT Tower in Agargaon on the occasion of the inauguration of ‘Bangabandhu Innovation Grant-2020’ organized by the Information and Communication Technology Department’s Idea Project. Ideal is a role model for present and future generations.
 He said, ‘Bangabandhu Innovation Grant’ has been organized to encourage entrepreneurs and innovators. Bangabandhu Innovation Grant will be organized every year not only in Mujib’s year but also as an event.
 Palak further said, ‘Bangabandhu’s life, ideology and political philosophy should be presented to the present and future generations to inspire the youth as well. Then they will never be defeated in the struggle of life.
 The state minister said, ‘Bangabandhu is not only of Bangladesh, but of the whole world. In order to inspire the struggling life ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu, the Innovation Grant Platform will be developed as an attractive platform for young innovators from all over the world to fulfill their dreams. He said, “ICT department has taken 20 technology based initiatives including innovation grant in Mujibvarsa.”
 Entrepreneurs interested in participating in the Bangabandhu Innovation Grant Competition need to register by visiting this website www.big.gov.bd. Domestic entrepreneurs can register till December 25 and foreign entrepreneurs till January 25, 2021.
