BDOSN will provide higher education support abroad through Facebook without consultancy fees
Devdulal Munna: This information was provided by Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN). Meanwhile, UNESCO’s report titled ‘Global Flow of Tertiary Level Education’ states that about 50,000 to 60,000 students from Bangladesh migrate abroad for higher education every year. Most of them complete the university admission process and visa processing through various consultancy firms. In return, the firms take from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh from each person. From now on you can go abroad for higher education without any consultancy fee.
According to Diginet, the event started on Facebook Live on Saturday night. Japan was the first country in the HSA talk to start with scholarship information from different countries. Asir Ahmed, a professor at Kislu University in Japan, and Salma Al Amirah, a postgraduate student at Waseda University, gave advice on Facebook Live at more than 800 universities in Japan.
It will be regular now. Conducted under the Bangladesh Science Popularization Association and ESDG for BD project, the live broadcast is from BDOSN’s official Facebook page. As a result, those who are interested will be notified and will be able to take part if they like this page. One-to-one support will be provided if required.
