Rape and abduction case, the lover is going back to her husband on the order of the High Court
Nur Mohammad:  The High Court has directed to hand over a girl at a child development center to her husband in a case filed against her husband for torturing and raping her after she ran away and got married. The High Court has directed the Women and Child Abuse Suppression Tribunal in Chadampur.
 On Thursday, Justice M. Inayetur Rahim and Justice. The bench of Mostafizur Rahman passed the order. Sheikh Ali Ahmed Khokon appeared for the petitioner in the court.
 Ali Ahmed Khokon told reporters that Segufta Yasmin Mehzabin and Kamal Majumder of Chadampur ran away and got married. The girl’s mother filed a case of abduction and rape under the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act at the police station. The girl and her son were arrested six months later and produced before the tribunal. Her mother pleaded to take the girl into her custody. As the girl did not agree to this, the court sent her to Gazipur Child and Adolescent Development Center. The girl was 4 months pregnant when she was sent to the Child and Adolescent Development Center.
 The son then applied to the Chadampur court to take his wife into custody on bail from the High Court. However, it is dismissed. In the High Court, they actually directed the caretaker of the Child Development Center to appear before the High Court along with the girl and her child. The girl along with the newborn was produced in the High Court today.
 They got married on February 17, 2019. Mehzabin’s mother filed a case on December 6, 2019 over the incident.
