The terrorist was looking for the teacher among the students before killing him saying ‘Allahu Akbar’
Lihan Lima: Aboulakh Anzorov, a 16-year-old Muslim refugee from Chechnya, beheaded Samuel Patli, a college history and geography teacher, on the streets of Paris on Friday. Mail
After the murder, the terrorist sent a picture of the teacher’s body to the Chechen IS Telegram channel. Anzorov has been granted asylum in Paris for 10 years. Her sister went to Syria in 2014 to join the ISA. However, French intelligence had no information about Anjorov.
In the last 10 days, Samuel was discussing with the students in the French satirical magazine Shirley Ebdo about the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad and the terrorist attack on the newspaper’s office. However, he asked the Muslim students to leave the classroom at this time. But one student remained and he later complained about it to the school authorities along with his parents. In a video shared online a day before Samuel’s murder, the parents called him a “bandit.” Nine people, including college students and parents, have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident.
French President Emmanuel Macron called the incident “Islamic terrorism.” Muslim leaders in France have condemned the incident, saying “it is a blow to France’s secular policy and freedom of expression.”
