Before NASA launches a mission to the moon in 2024, it wants to get 4G communication system there. Such a mobile network will do a great job in the work that NASA is going to start on the moon. Jim Brydenstein, the administrator of the US space agency NASA, said that the astronauts would use the mobile network to build a base on the moon by 2026 or to provide research information. At the same time, NASA has to work on inventing various technologies suitable for living on the moon.

Jim said that in the case of living on the moon, the mobile network connection with the earth is also being considered so that it can last a long time. In the case of living on the moon, such a network would rather increase capacity. The total project cost is ৭ 360 million. US billionaire and Tesla car owner Elon Musk’s SpaceX Company is implementing the lion’s share of the project. Bell Labs, Nokia’s innovative arm, said on Twitter that it was working on such a 4G network, adding that by making proper use of our innovative power in creating this wireless network, it would build a network similar to the Five G. However, in addition to high levels of radiation, such a network must be successful in dealing with the temperature and the vacuum in space. At the same time, the smallest possible size of the integrated cellular network needs to be established, eliminating a number of limitations, including the effects of large-scale vibrations during spacecraft landing on the moon.

However, if a mobile phone network is set up on the moon, it will be possible to have constant communication with astronauts, lunar spacecraft and the earth, said Jim, administrator of NASA’s space technology mission. That is why Nokia is further developing terrestrial technology that will adapt to the overall environment. Because there are huge obstacles like increasing distance and speed.

In 2016, British Vodafone took the initiative to build such a mobile network. In addition to the Rocket, Lander, and Audi rovers made by SpaceX, the company also used the Lunar vehicle, which was used by the astronauts of Apollo 17 in 1982, but without much success.
